At Maxons we are so lucky to have our corporate headquarters in New York City, and we also happen to be in a neighborhood that always has something going on! Yesterday, in honor of Wool Week, sponsored by The Campaign for Wool, there were real, live sheep penned in in Bryant Park. We had some farm animals almost in our backyard here in NYC!
I have found this quote to be something that helps me improve my life and better myself. I have literally found them to be ‘words to live by.’

Maxons is excited about getting a group together to do a Tough Mudder on June 1st in 2013! Yes – we are preparing this far in advance because this is no easy task. Tough Mudder races are actually based on training for British Special Forces training. It is typically about a 10 mile race, with 15 -20 obstacles scattered throughout.
We are hoping to have a well prepared group of employees, families and friends. One of the main goals of finishing a Tough Mudder is to finish with your team intact and smiling – we will all cross the finish line together as one big happy, (but exhausted) Tough Mudder Maxons Family!
We are also excited about the Document Solutions Team who initially we were inviting to join the Maxons team but have broken off and formed their own Splinter Group! Maybe some group training sessions down the line…
Let’s get running, lifting, lunging, jumping…
Maxons is very pleased to introduce the refreshed Eye of the Storm (EOTS) to you! Our Sneak Peek into the new system starts on 9/21/12! Maxons created EOTS over 8 years ago and we just completed a refresh to the look and functionality of the site. Being a Team Member on EOTS allows you to log into our system and see the latest updates, photos, video and documents associated with your project(s).
If you are a new user you will be prompted to create a new password for yourself upon your first log in. If you are already a user your old log in and password still work just fine.
When you log in you will then see your Open projects listed. Once you are in a project you can see the Team Members and their contact information, the status of the job, any reserves that have been associated with the job, documents uploaded as well as photos and videos uploaded. As the job progresses the updates will be added on so the history remains and you can see what has happened along the way.
We are excited about this update and look forward to this improving an already great system!
